Character & Spiritual Education

Service Hours Program
The Willows believes that a key ingredient to the success of any character education program is to allow the students an opportunity to exercise and practice the morals and virtues they learn at school.

To encourage students to make charity and other virtues a staple in their own lives, The Willows requires each high school student to perform 40 hours of community service per year (20 hours per junior high student.)

Below is listed a few of the charity groups, nursing home and other organizations where Willows students have given of their time and talent.

Lee Manor Nursing Home
Catholic Charities of Des Plaines
The Greater Chicago Food Depository
St. Thomas of Canterbury Soup Kitchen
The Park Ridge Public Library
